Ksenia Onoprienko is a Helsinki-based director and cinematographer working across fiction and documentary. Her films are sincere and emotionally grounded, exploring family, memory, and belonging through female stories.

A graduate of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Film and Television, she moves between directing, editing, and cinematography, with the camera as her strongest tool. Alongside moving image, she works in photography and graphic design, and brings that visual thinking to fiction and documentary alike.

Off set, you'll find her in the back row of an arthouse screening, wandering the city on foot, or at home with her cat Oskari.
